Peggy Powell Toohey from the Class of 1962 wrote to us on April 21, 2023:
“Living in Florida for 38 years. I wish I could be there [at the 2023 All-Class Reunion]. I wanted to go to other all class reunions, but unfortunately I was not able. My husband was in the Navy and I went to college 1977-83. Best wishes for a fun and successful reunion to all who are able to attend. I will mention this to my brothers. James still lives in Connecticut (Class of '68) and Robert lives in California (Class of '61).”
Class of 1962 60th Reunion held in September 2022
On September 10, 2022, the combined Milford High School/Jonathan Law 60th Reunion was held at Gusto's restaurant in Milford, as seen above and at left.
Photos courtesy of Marty Beard Merk, who noted, “Our senior class split at the end of our junior year, and half of the students went to Jonathan Law High School and became the first graduating class from JLHS!
“Since then, we have always had our reunions together as the Class of 1962.”
(There’s a lesson here for the Foran and MHS Classes of 1975, who also split after their senior year.)
