Class of 1972 - Send your photos, stories, memories for this page

From Eugene Lisansky (Feb. 27, 2023): “Here are a couple of originals and a yearbook pic for the Class of '72 page on the website. I've colorized a yearbook photo of the literary magazine staff (top right), though this one is from the 1971 yearbook (taken in the Fall of 1970). A couple of people used fake names: R. Stanowicz is future 1972 Senior Class President Pete Buckman, and F. One is Chris Dickinson. From my camera, there's a black-and-white of English teacher and drama guru Bob McHugh striding into a classroom. And finally a hallway, just after the between-class rush (parallel to W. Main St I think).

More photos courtesy of Eugene. Above left, this 1970 shot he entitled, “Hipsters” seen outside the gym. To its right, math teacher Pike and English teacher Nancy McCarthy in action.

On the chalkboard, “The society for the preservation of wooden toilets.” — The Birch John Society.

Black & white photo out of the yearbook, colorized.

At left, History teacher Ron Harrington taken in the Fall of 1969 in the Yellow Building.

At right, history teacher (and bowling coach) Vincent Babuscio in 1971. Eugene added, “I took his Modern Problems class two years in a row, even though we hated each other's politics. It was stimulating.”
